Rankin Finance Committee: FY25 amended budget shows smaller-than-expected deficit

Dr. Gordon told the committee he was hopeful the deficit figure would improve further before the Board of Education votes on the amended budget at the June BOE meeting. The committee discussed monitoring the projections and acknowledged the paving improvements project as the primary driver of the planned deficit spending for FY25.
