Scott Hyde, Community Justice Director, presented two provider contracts for outpatient substance-use-disorder treatment funded through Oregon Health Authority Intergovernmental Agreement No. 54291. The contract with ADAPT runs Jan. 1, 2026–June 30, 2027, for a maximum of $113,000; the contract with Options for Southern Oregon, doing business as Choices Counseling Center, covers the same period for a maximum of $75,000.
Commissioner Colene M. Martin moved to approve both contracts and authorize Shawn Martinez to sign on behalf of the county where specified. Commissioner Gary L. Richardson seconded the motions, and each passed unanimously. Commissioner Martin asked Community Justice to include provider-submitted semiannual data and Treatment Manager Shawn Martinez's tracking information in future department reports, including number and type of services delivered, participation, expenditures, and measurable outcomes.
