During its June 18 meeting the Harford County Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board took three recorded votes. The board unanimously approved the May meeting minutes, approved the Kern family’s request to revert a previously relocated pre‑existing dwelling envelope to its original location, and voted to remove the Shivers property from the county ranking list until the mortgage company confirms the owner can complete settlement.
All recorded motions on the minutes were moved by Bill Amoss and seconded by Dave Dougherty and carried unanimously; Megan McMillian voted yes; Mitch Hopkins and Jackie Smithson were listed as not in attendance. Staff will record the Kern envelope change in easement records and monitor mortgage confirmations for at‑risk ranking properties.
