Council approves expanded Candi Court storm sewer project after cost increase to $168,000

City Engineer Sarff reported the Candi Court/Candi Lane storm sewer project was extended to include additional properties experiencing the same drainage issues, raising the estimated project cost from $151,000 to $168,000. Sarff said staff had determined there were sufficient funds to cover the increased cost.
The council voted to adopt Res. No. 42‑25 approving plans and specifications and ordering advertisement for bids for City Project No. 24‑07 C. The motion was moved by Council Member Steiner, seconded by Council Member Whitlock, and passed unanimously (Peterson, Whitlock, Steiner, Carlson). Staff will advertise for bids per the approved plans.
