The Union Township Board of Education on June 17 accepted monthly financial reports and ratified payments for May totaling $1,363,232.99.
Finance Committee Chair John Malone presented the Board Secretary's and Treasurer's reports for May 2026 and the board approved a motion accepting those reports (F1). The board also ratified the May bill list (F3) in the amount of $1,363,232.99. The minutes state that the business office will continue to certify budget availability prior to any expenditure.
As part of routine year-end procedures, the board authorized potential transfers into reserve accounts: up to $2,000,000 into a Current Expense Capital Reserve account and up to $750,000 into a Current Expense Maintenance Reserve, subject to final availability and compliance with applicable statutes (F7).
