Library reports record WyoGives results, Summer Reading exceeds goal and docuseries to premiere

Library Director Cristine Braddy reported strong community engagement and fundraising during her July 21 presentation. The WyoGives campaign raised $46,150 with a $20,000 community match from Leroy and Sue Milner; Braddy said the campaign generated significant patron feedback. Summer Reading had 404 registered patrons and had recorded 320,082 reading minutes to date, surpassing the library's 300,000-minute goal.
Braddy also announced the Goshen County Stories docuseries, produced in partnership with the county Semiquincentennial Committee, will premiere on July 22 at 12:00 p.m. She reported intermittent HVAC issues the library is addressing and said summer staffing has been stretched by bereavement leave, illness and vacations. The Board accepted the library report.
