The Silver Spring Township Planning Commission tabled four development and subdivision plans during its Feb. 6 meeting after applicants requested additional time. The items acted on were: Hunters Glen (2014-8 & 2018-30) Revised Preliminary Subdivision and Land Development Plan; Kost Road Tract (2023-8) Preliminary Land Development Plan; HJ Towing & Recovery (2024-13) Final Land Development Plan; and St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (2025-1) Final Subdivision Plan. Each tabling motion was moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes and "the motion carried."
HJ Towing & Recovery’s plan was tabled with a condition: the Commission recorded the plan would remain tabled provided a time extension request is filed prior to the Board of Supervisors meeting on Feb. 22, 2025. The multiple tabling actions were procedural responses to applicants' requests and do not represent approvals or denials of the underlying plans. The Commission approved the Jan. 2, 2025 minutes in the same session.
No detailed project descriptions, bond amounts, or staff recommendations for these plans were recorded in the minutes; applicants are expected to return with updated submissions or additional materials at a later meeting or at the Board of Supervisors meeting for items requiring further action.
