Commission approves third time extension for Grama Estates final plat

Development Services presented PL1016, a request for a third time extension of the final plat for Grama Estates. Staff said the plat was originally approved in 2023, received extensions in 2024 and 2025, and no public improvements had been started. "This is their 3rd time extension. Staff recommends approval," Elena Buendia said, and staff told commissioners the Technical Review Committee saw no significant infrastructure changes that would affect the request.
A realtor, Cindy Alvarado, spoke in favor, saying market conditions had slowed and the developer needs more time to secure financing. After discussion, members moved and seconded a motion to grant the extension and the commission approved the request by voice vote.
