Buendia said staff mailed 61 public notices, received "0 in opposition and 0 in favor," and that GLO comments had been addressed, leading staff to recommend approval. Committee members queried the precise area of proposed dune work and whether the mitigation would be completed; Buendia described the work as limited to the owner’s private property within the mapped mitigation bubble and said the renewal would carry the same compensation package previously approved. With no public comment, the committee approved the renewal by voice vote.
