Board accepts multiple donations and approves FFA convention travel

The Durand Area Schools Board on Sept. 8 accepted several donations: $1,000 from Graff Chevrolet to the boys soccer program, $180 from TVC Cable to the Support of Schools fund, and $250 in contributions to Durand FFA from private donors and retired Ohio educators. Each donation was approved by a unanimous roll call vote (6–0).
In the same meeting, the board approved Durand FFA students' travel to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis (Oct. 28–Nov. 1, 2025) and to the State Leadership Conference in Lansing (Oct. 7–8, 2025). Member Jake Zdunic moved the national convention motion and member Cari Shephard supported it; both travel motions passed with no recorded opposition.
