Darrick Huff, president of the Durand Area Schools Board of Education, presided as the board voted to adopt an Operational Resolution for the 2025–2026 school year.
Member Xak Zdunic moved, and member Nick Taylor supported, the motion to approve the resolution, which, according to the motion text, establishes provisions for policies, meeting schedules, authorized signatures on bank accounts, business affairs, minute recording, election duties, organization membership, and retainer contracts. The board approved the resolution by roll call (AYES: All (4)).
Board members said the resolution sets standard operating procedures for the coming school year and ensures continuity for administrative functions. The board took the vote during the meeting convened July 21, 2025; no amendments were offered at the time.
