The board designated Fifth Third Bank of Kalamazoo and Huntington Bank for checking and related investment accounts and listed MILAF as an additional institution for deposits and investments. The minutes record the Board’s retention of Thrun Law Firm, P.C. for general school law and labor relations and Plante & Moran as the district auditor for the fiscal year July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026.
The meeting also recorded the annual approval of positions authorized to use district credit card(s); the minutes include a detailed list of authorized positions (Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, certain principals and directors and other named roles).
