Superintendent Jeff Davis delivered the district report, highlighting an upcoming all-staff day and the planned introduction of new staff members in September.
Davis said the transportation department is one driver short and is operating on a routing basis; the district is seeking a 10-passenger van as a potential mitigation. He told the board the land-survey process is moving more slowly than expected but that plans will be submitted to the county soon. Davis also noted that funds are available to assist families needing clothing and that ASB students will begin presenting updates to the board in future meetings.
"Transportation remains one driver short and is operating on a routing basis," the minutes record, and Davis also said the school garden reference on the website will be addressed.
