The Forest Hills Board certified President Fauson as the board's voting delegate for the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) Delegate Assembly for 2024. The certification was approved on a motion by Member Covelle, seconded by Member Terryn, and carried by a 7-0 voice vote.
Separately, the board authorized using up to $750 of available MASB reimbursement toward board member registrations for MASB's 2024 Annual Leadership Conference. That motion, also moved by Member Covelle and seconded by Member Terryn, passed on a 7-0 voice vote. District materials note MASB is offering up to $750 back on select event registrations or services completed by June 30, 2025, for boards in honor of its Diamond Anniversary.
