Cook also asked that the school garden reference be removed from the district website if the project does not continue and urged the board to consider how a dress-code prohibition on pajamas could affect families with limited clothing options.
The board did not take immediate action on Cook’s requests during the meeting; Superintendent Jeff Davis later reported the district will address the school garden listing on the website and noted funds are available to assist families who may need help purchasing clothing.
