Jennifer McKay, the district's Executive Director of Business and Finance, presented monthly financial reports and told the board action on the amendment, the proposed budget and the tax rate would be requested during the regular meeting. The consent grouping that passed included approval of the 2024–25 General Appropriations Budget amendment and the proposed 2025–26 budget as presented at the public hearing.
The board approved payment of bills dated June 19, 2025, from the General Fund, checks #22005773 through #22005943 in the amount of $694,200.96 and an electronic transfer of $507,547.06, for a total of $1,204,748.02, excluding payroll. The motion to approve the consent grouping was made by Vice President Kevin Palmateer and supported by Trustee Colleen Dodson; the vote was 5–0.
Board members present for the vote were Kevin Palmateer, Colleen Dodson, Kirk Smith, Nicole Winston and President Dave Schmorrow. Two members, Nick Thomas and Amanda Busch, were recorded as absent earlier in the meeting. The board did not receive any citizen comments during the public comment period on these finance items.
