Michelle Jaros, Principal of Early College & Innovative Programs, told the Curriculum Committee on Jan. 9 that the GLVP has added targeted learning supports and revised course offerings to expand student choice and support individualized pathways.
Jaros said GLVP has implemented a Math and ELA Lab for grades 6–12 and Skillbuilders for grades K–5 to support individualized learning pathways informed by student needs. The materials packet notes that Thrun Law reviewed the new courses and updates.
The committee reviewed course descriptions and related materials and recorded that the GLVP New Courses & Updates will be presented to the full Board of Trustees for formal approval. The committee did not take a final vote on the curricula at the Jan. 9 meeting; presenters and administrators are scheduled to bring the proposals to the Board in a future session. The committee set its next Curriculum Committee meeting for Feb. 13, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
