Christine Annese, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, reported curriculum items to the committee and said that Aaron Romoslawski, assistant principal at Northern High, will present on artificial intelligence at the Board Curriculum meeting on Oct. 16, 2024. She also said the book "Think Like a Thief" is up for review and reminded the committee that Oct. 18 is a professional development day across the district.
In the administrative update, Superintendent Ben Kirby thanked Business Office staff for completing the financial audit and noted that National Merit semifinalists will be acknowledged at the Oct. 21 Board meeting. He also said Dan McElheny will be recognized as Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year and Matt Langlois as State School Social Worker of the Year.
