Assistant Superintendent Scott Haid told the Curriculum Committee that the JK/K screener took place on June 1, 2026, and that district staff will provide registration numbers when available. Committee Member Maggie Terryn asked whether current JK students will remain for kindergarten; staff said that specific retention data has not yet been pulled but will be prepared closer to the 2026–27 school year.
Jon Gregory reviewed instructional finance requests and curriculum plans, identifying Connected Math 3 (CMP3) as a one-year renewal with two planned pilots in 2026–27 and noting a curricular review of Everyday Math workbooks (McGraw Hill) for grades 1–5 in 2026–27.
