Finance panel hears updated timelines for multiple bond projects, Aquatic Center to bid July 2025

Forest Hills Public Schools staff told the Finance Committee that several bond-funded projects are on track: Ada Vista finishes Dec. 2024, Pine Ridge completes Aug. 2025, the Aquatic Center will go to bid in July 2025 with construction beginning in October 2025 and completion expected in October 2027.
Julie Davis, Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations, presented the district’s bond construction update, outlining schedules for several major projects. She said Ada Vista’s final phase will be complete in December 2024 and Pine Ridge will have phase turnovers at winter and spring break with final completion in August 2025. Eastern Middle’s secure entrance is scheduled for May 2025, and Northern High’s auxiliary turf field is slated for Spring/Summer 2025.
Davis described the Aquatic Center timeline in detail: design will go out to bid in July 2025, construction is expected to start in October 2025, and the project is targeted for final completion in October 2027. She also said the Northern Hills Middle design phase runs through July 2025 with construction projected April 2026–June 2028 and that summer 2025 work will include roofing, paving and mechanical projects at multiple sites.
