Public commenters highlight veterans resources; Rep. Murphy reports HB1113 passed the House

In the public-comment portion of the meeting resident Kelli Kilanski told the Selectboard about local veterans resources and events: missing-man tables will be installed at Hinsdale A-1, Margaritas, Longhorn and the Keene Elks Club; Rolling Thunder will fundraise at upcoming local festivals; and a veterans group meets each Tuesday at the Brattleboro Legion.
Denis Murphy, who serves as Town Moderator and as a state representative, told the board that House Bill 1113 he sponsored passed the New Hampshire House. The bill would enable municipalities to establish three-year terms for town moderators; Murphy said it will be on the next town warrant (March 2027) for voter consideration.
