Board members and the presenter reviewed the MOU that governs the club’s use and maintenance responsibilities for the course. Speaker 2 (the board representative who referenced the MOU) said signatures were dated May 2024 and that the agreement references a review every two years.
"This MOU has been through, the county attorney, at least 2 or 3 different versions of it," a board member said, adding the agreement was intended to protect the park and county equities while allowing the club to install and maintain the course. Chris agreed some wording was ambiguous—specifically whether the two‑year review starts at signature or at installation—and offered to work with county attorneys to clarify the language.
Board members asked for the maintenance commitments in writing and suggested possible future inclusion of the Henry County Disc Golf Club in the MOU after two years to strengthen local stewardship.
