He explained casual-relief practice used on many courses and said players "go back to safe footing, which is flat" when areas are flagged as casual relief; he also proposed flagging, small stakes with tape, and signage to keep players on intended routes. The presenter said three footbridges will be placed at required creek or drainage crossings and suggested mulch and a wood chipper to reduce soil compaction from foot traffic.
Board members raised hole-specific erosion concerns (particularly Hole 5) and asked whether the county would help maintain erosion-prone spots; Chris pointed to MOU maintenance language and volunteer commitments but agreed that written clarifications would help.
