The presentation emphasized safety and environmental precautions: bridges will be installed at required creek crossings, certain playground and monument areas are designated out-of-bounds, and the design includes signage and maps to guide players. Chris said he wanted to pour remaining tee pads and, if the board approved the revised layout, would like the grand opening on August 8 "if these changes are approved and we get the course playable."
Board members asked for clarifications about areas touching unmowed woods, erosion-prone holes and responsibilities spelled out in the MOU; the session was explicitly a work session (informational) and the board did not take a formal vote to approve the layout. The meeting adjourned after the informational discussion.
