Principals present strategic scorecard to board, spotlighting proficiency and facilities planning
Summary

Building principals Melissa Lijewski (elementary), Dan Caudle (middle) and Tracy Ripley (high school) presented a Strategic Scorecard during the June 23 board meeting that emphasized three pillars: Academics (increase student proficiency in ELA and math on state assessments), Growth and Sustainability (improve employee experience, adopt a PK–12 curriculum cycle, evaluate district buildings and develop a long-term facilities plan) and Culture and Community (anti-bullying programs, cannabis education for students, field renovations and partnerships with community organizations).

The principals highlighted both academic targets and operational needs, including marketing use, a PK–12 curriculum schedule and facilities evaluations that will inform longer-term capital planning.
