The Saginaw Township Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution designating electoral representatives for the Saginaw Intermediate School District's board member biennial election scheduled for June 2, 2025. The action took place at a special meeting on May 19, 2025, called to order by Janice Collison, president, at 7:00 p.m. in the Arrowwood Conference Center at 5410 Seidel Road.
Board member David Jaffe moved to approve the attached resolution designating electoral representatives; Board member Jenean Coughlin seconded the motion. A roll call vote recorded all members in favor and the motion was adopted. The roll call at the start of the meeting listed board members Marianne Bird, David Booth, Janice Collison, Jenean Coughlin, Michele DeShone, David Jaffe and Arik Smith as present; student board members Sara Zacharek and Madalin Yaw were also present. No public comments were offered during the meeting.
After the vote on the electoral-representative resolution, Board member David Jaffe moved to adjourn; Board member Arik Smith seconded, and the board adopted the adjournment by unanimous roll call. The special meeting ended at 7:05 p.m. The minutes were signed by Michele DeShone, secretary.
