The Town of Green Lake Board met Sept. 8, 2025, and approved the meeting agenda, minutes from Aug. 11, 2025, and the vouchers and bills. Chairman Moderow called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM; Supervisor Berndt was absent.
Treasurer Machkovich presented the August financial report showing credits of $234,257.37, debits of $266,864.74 and a remaining loan balance of $278,587.00; the board approved the treasurer's report. During routine business, Chairman Moderow read a letter from the Marquette Volunteer Fire Department requesting a donation for fireworks. A motion by Moderow, seconded by Strelow, to deny the donation request carried. The minutes do not specify the amount requested by the fire department nor the vote tallies for motions recorded as "motion carried."
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn at 7:21 PM. Other routine approvals — the agenda, prior minutes and vouchers — were all recorded as carried without detailed roll-call counts in the minutes.
