Green Lake board approves routine business, denies fireworks donation

During routine business, Chairman Moderow read a letter from the Marquette Volunteer Fire Department requesting a donation for fireworks. A motion by Moderow, seconded by Strelow, to deny the donation request carried. The minutes do not specify the amount requested by the fire department nor the vote tallies for motions recorded as "motion carried."
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn at 7:21 PM. Other routine approvals — the agenda, prior minutes and vouchers — were all recorded as carried without detailed roll-call counts in the minutes.
