District staff reviewed the proposed salary schedule and supplements, explaining how prior supplements were folded into base pay and what remains proposed for this year. "So our professionals are getting $9,000 in supplements per year?" a board member asked; the staff representative confirmed and explained the only new difference this year was a $2,000 payment in October intended to mirror what the state provided last year.
The staff said because the sales-tax-supported supplements already appear in the district's schedule, the payments qualify toward the state's $2,000 stipend guidance for teachers. Board members asked for removal of an erroneously listed sales-tax/transportation manager line; staff agreed to remove it and present the corrected schedule for adoption.
