At its July 13 meeting the Norfolk Conservation Commission approved several financial motions, all passed unanimously. Recorded votes included: a $250 payment to consultant Todd Mervosh for Japanese stiltgrass consultation and treatment; $250 approved for miscellaneous invasive-removal supplies; and approximately $100+ for the commission’s share of a combined invoice for plants, mulch and weed barrier paper used at the Town Hall planting (cost shared among Norfolk Nature Alliance members).
The commission also approved outreach purchases (a tray of 50 native plant plugs, approximately $100, and a display easel, approximately $50) to support Win Weekend tabling. The minutes record each motion and that each passed without opposition; treasurer and chair follow-up tasks were assigned to process payments and execute purchases.
