Photography club announces exhibits, remembers member who led Porter County hikes

A representative of the artistic photography club (Presenter) reported that the club has moved a storage cabinet back into the program center and has an upcoming exhibit at the Art Barn with a reception on Aug. 28. The club also plans an exhibit at the Village Gallery at Pines Village in November and December.
The presenter remembered Ron Seaman, a club member who led Indiana Dunes hikes and who also led hikes that included Porter County park properties. "He led Indiana Dunes Hiking, and... he led hikes in the Porter County parks," the Presenter said, noting Seaman’s statewide and online following. The public‑comment period included brief thanks from a member of the public for the parks’ presence at the Porter County Fair.
With no further public comments, the board moved to adjourn the meeting.
