Marysville Board approves $1.66 million in payments, green-lights sinking-fund roofs

The Marysville Public Schools Board approved payments totaling $1,657,510.89 (excluding payroll) and, via the consent agenda, awarded sinking-fund roof replacements to WeatherGuard totaling $43,590.00; the Board also approved the annual School Bond Loan resolution required by the Michigan Department of Treasury.
During its July 24 meeting the Board of Education approved the district's monthly financial reports and authorized payments presented for July 24, 2025. The Board approved General Fund checks #22006013 through #22006066 totaling $1,062,655.43 and an electronic payment of $598,855.46, for a combined total of $1,657,510.89 (excluding payroll), as presented in Exhibit A.
Also in the consent grouping the Board approved awarding roof replacements from the sinking fund to WeatherGuard: $25,690.00 for the concession stand/ticket booth and $17,900.00 for the band garage (combined $43,590.00). Board approval of the School Bond Loan Program resolution was recorded; the resolution enables participation in the state-administered School Bond Loan revolving fund as required by the Michigan Department of Treasury.
