He said the parcel’s owner had failed to pay an estimated $60,000 in taxes during that period and urged the town to watch assessments more closely.
The board acknowledged the concerns; Chair invited staff to monitor assessment practices and noted the town will post supporting documents on the website. No formal board action on the assessments was taken at the meeting.
