Staff outlines fall programs, community fair and plans to procure a backup vehicle

On transportation, staff said the town meeting approved procurement of a smaller vehicle to use when the van or volunteer drivers are unavailable; the item will be followed by policy work mirroring the existing van policy. Staff also reminded residents that open enrollment for Medicare begins in October and encouraged people to call the COA with questions. “Open enrollment begins in October,” staff stated, urging residents to contact the office for assistance.
