The Langley City Council unanimously adopted an amended consent agenda that included A/P transactions #45544–#45548 for $67,097.67 and Vouchers #45549–#45579 for $244,423.36, for a combined total of $311,521.03. The consent agenda also included approval of several sets of minutes, the appointment of Mia Shigemura to the Dismantling Systemic Racism Commission, a special event liquor license for the Whidbey Audubon Society, a Public Works contract for meter installation, a sign permit for Little Gemme at 225 Anthes Ave #102 (DRB‑26‑001), and a corrected Island County Tourism Promotion Agreement.
Councilmember Thomas Gill moved to adopt the consent agenda as amended; Councilmember Dominique Emerson seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Separately, after auditors identified two unapproved joint commission minutes and missing notation about legal counsel in some executive session minutes, Councilmember Craig Cyr moved to approve a set of prior council minutes; that motion also passed unanimously.
The approvals clear routine fiscal and administrative matters the council listed in its packet and allow staff to proceed with the listed contracts and permit actions.
