Council considered and moved to approve an athletic-field rental agreement for the Dyer Kickers for the 2026 fall season. A staff speaker recommended adding language that would permit the Dyer Kickers to use additional fields beyond those listed in the agreement with written permission from the director of parks and recreation.
“The motion would be to approve the athletic field rental agreement with the tire kickers with including of a change or permission to the for the Dyer Kickers to use fields additional to those in the agreement with the written permission from the director of parks and recreation,” a staff speaker said while introducing the motion.
The council asked for clarification about when signatures were needed; staff said the group must sign before using the fields and that staff could send the agreement by DocuSign. Council members confirmed that insurance and rosters must be provided before teams could practice or play on town fields. Staff agreed to send the agreement and to follow up with Jason and other contacts by email to complete signatures.
The motion carried after a motion and second; staff will finalize and distribute the executed agreement and confirm insurance and roster requirements.
