The Town Council approved the consent agenda, which included approval of the minutes of 07/09/2026 and claims totaling $310,108. A motion to approve the consent agenda passed on a roll-call vote with multiple council members recorded as "Yes."
Staff reported on several park pay requests and recommended releasing retainage after punch-list items were addressed and acceptable germination was observed. On the Northgate parking lot improvements (Pay Request No. 3), staff said site items were corrected and recommended releasing retainage. For the Everly Park pickleball court (Pay Request No. 6), staff said issues with germination had been resolved and recommended payment in the amount cited in the agenda. For Hathaway and Heritage Estates Park improvements, staff recommended releasing retainage for the $342,939 pay request after observed corrections.
“Everything appears to be germinated properly, and we're recommending releasing the retainage for this project,” a staff member told the council while presenting the projects. Council members moved and seconded the items and the chair called the roll for approval.
The council did not provide further amendments to the pay requests. Staff will proceed with final administrative steps to release the retainage and process the claims.
