Employee-Management Committee adopts Jan. 30 agenda, approves 2024 minutes

The Nevada State Employee-Management Committee adopted its Jan. 30, 2025 agenda and approved several sets of previous meeting minutes in a series of unanimous procedural votes during the short videoconference meeting.
Doug Fromm moved to adopt the Jan. 30 agenda and Mary Gordon seconded; the motion passed with all members voting in favor. "I motion to adopt the agenda for Thursday, January 30, 2025," Fromm said when presenting the motion. Chair Turessa Russell called for ayes and announced the motion passed unanimously.
Following the agenda adoption, the committee handled multiple minutes approvals. Sandy Geyer moved to amend attendance on the March 21, 2024 minutes (see separate correction); after that amendment was approved, the committee voted to adopt the March 21, 2024 minutes as amended and then approved the Aug. 8 and Oct. 17, 2024 minutes. Each action was made by motion, seconded, and announced as unanimous.
With no additional public comment or business, Chair Russell adjourned the meeting at 10:13 a.m. The meeting record shows DHRM staff and EMC counsel present; staff said they would verify attendance records and update the official minutes as needed.
