Jamboree plans: July 18 event in Plevna gains sponsors, bands and vendors

Miller said three bands are scheduled (daytime, opening and evening), the Chamber will host duck races, FFA will assist with cleanup, and the Whiskey Barrel Saloon will run the event bar; three food trucks and several vendors have signed up and the committee has received a $1,000 sponsorship from Mid-Rivers.
Organizers are seeking volunteers or a group to organize children's games as a fundraiser and plan to start the event later in the day this year. Council members asked staff to ensure vendor checks are written to the Town of Plevna per bank requirements.
