The City of Markesan Board of Review convened June 4, 2026, at 5:16 p.m. Mayor Rich Slate called the meeting to order; Ald. Pat Prill moved and Ald. Joseph Kazda seconded a motion to name Rich Slate chair of the Board of Review. The motion carried by unanimous vote, 3-0.
Clerk/Treasurer Tamra Harrington verified the Board of Review was properly noticed in the Markesan Regional Reporter on April 30, 2026, and stated she completed the Wisconsin Department of Revenue Board of Review training on June 4, 2026 as required by Wis. Stats. 70.46(4). Assessor Brian Frank of Frank Assessments, LLC confirmed the Tax Assessment Roll is complete and that Open Book had been held prior to the hearing.
