Council approves rezoning of 301 Hartree Blvd. N. to B-2 service business

Staff told the council this was the ordinance's second reading following discussion at the prior meeting and that the resolution would also authorize the public notice. "This resolution serves as the formal approval for the rezone that we just did for the ordinance 037. It also approves the public notice that will go into the newspaper," the staff member said. Council dispensed with the reading, moved to approve and the chair declared the motion carried.
The council did not provide a roll-call tally in the meeting minutes; the motion was recorded as carried. The resolution also authorizes the city to publish the legal notice that states the ordinance, the new zoning designation and the property's address. The item will take effect according to the city's publication and ordinance-adoption schedule.
