Committee unanimously approves June minutes; public asks about Broadacres parking schedule

Chair John Drobinski moved to approve the June 3, 2026 minutes; Chris Menge seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. The committee set future meeting dates for Aug. 5 and Sept. 16, 2026 and adjourned at approximately 8:30 p.m.
During public comment Len Simon asked about the schedule for construction of the Broadacres Farm parking area. Marcia Rasmussen explained that ramp work plans are currently with MassDOT and will go to AA Will for a quote; she said accessing remaining funds will require a formal federal contract-extension process that will take time and that MassDOT will decide whether AA Will can perform additional plaza and sculpture work or if a second contractor will be needed.
