The Farmersville City Council recommended appointing Armando Ernesto David Cervantes Garcia to the Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG) Measure R Citizens Oversight Committee, approving the recommendation as Resolution 2026-019.
Mayor Pro Tem Araceli Ochoa asked that Mr. Garcia provide updates to the council after attending TCAG meetings. The motion was approved (motion by Mayor Hernandez; second by Councilmember Danny Valdovinos) on a 3-1 vote. The council’s expectation is that the appointee will represent Farmersville at oversight meetings and report key developments back to the council.
