Village schedules Dec. 4 workshop to shape Greenwood Lake comprehensive plan

Trustee Selye announced a workshop for the Greenwood Lake comprehensive plan committee: Thursday, Dec. 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Greenwood Lake Elementary School (80 Waterstone Road). The workshop will feature interactive stations—welcome, future vision, strengths/opportunities, village priorities, places/connections and enhancements—and attendees can arrive at any time during that window to participate.
Selye said the comprehensive-plan survey remains open through Dec. 7 and contains 22 questions; attendees will be able to take the survey at the workshop. The committee intends to use the workshop to refine the vision statement, goals and recommendations drawn from previous survey responses. The board encouraged residents to participate and noted the workshop is an important opportunity to shape village priorities.
