Playground nearly installed; amphitheater, caboose and splash pad move forward

City Administrator Roxane Worley told the Council that installation of playground equipment for the parks project is almost completed and that the city will begin work on an amphitheater and a caboose next. Worley said the splash pad design is being finalized and that a Parks Committee meeting will be scheduled in the coming week to review progress and next steps.
Worley also reported that the city has contracted HECO Engineers for Parks Project Phase II and that Anderson Perry has work orders for the Wastewater Emergency Plan from previous Council action. "The installation of the playground equipment is almost completed. We will be starting the amphitheater and caboose next," she said. The Council did not take a separate vote on the parks update at the March 24 meeting.
