Claymont students and staff recognized; Primary and Elementary raise $2,419.50 for Rainbow Connection

The board recognized several staff and community members: Brent Gates was commended for helping a coworker in need of medical attention; Heather Dotts and Jane Lesiecki were recognized as part of a CISM Response Team and honored as honorary sheriffs; and Kelly Cook and Amber Roberts were invited to Columbus to attend Gov. DeWine's state-of-the-state address. Ms. Campbell thanked staff and community members for supporting OHSAA events held at the high school.
Mrs. Whipkey reported that the Primary and Elementary buildings presented donations totaling $2,419.50 to the Rainbow Connection and that Claymont had collected more than any other school. The board offered congratulations to state wrestling qualifiers named in the minutes.
