Board certifies tax rates, approves February financials and OSBA fund resolutions

On a roll-call vote the board approved the February financial report, payment of bills, and minutes of recent meetings, and passed two resolutions related to the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Legal Assistance Fund. Treasurer Kim Beckley presented the February financials included in the board packet.
The board also approved certification of amounts and rates to the Tuscarawas County Budget Commission. The certified levy figures shown in the minutes are: Permanent Improvement 4.2 mills ($1,241,000); Current Expense 20.5 mills ($5,300,000); Permanent Improvement 2.0 mills ($476,000); Current Expense 3.0 mills ($783,000). The motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
