Mrs. Host moved to add the authorization as a new-business resolution, Ms. Campbell seconded, and the motion carried on a roll-call vote with all five members voting yes. The resolution gives the Commission until March 1, 2026 to acknowledge the reallocation; if it does not, the board directed counsel to proceed with an appeal. The board recorded the same unanimous vote when the resolution was considered under New Business later in the meeting.
The action preserves the board’s option to pursue administrative review of the commission’s determination on the district’s internal millage reallocation — a funding decision that affects the district’s permanent improvement revenue.
