Staff invited the board and residents to participate in a Safe Streets for All existing-conditions workshop on Aug. 11. "The city received the Safe Streets for All grama, and they're going through a planning process where they're looking at an existing conditions workshop," staff explained, and said the traffic engineer will lead interactive map-based surveys and that mailed instructions allow residents to participate online.
Staff asked commissioners to indicate who planned to attend so staff could manage logistics; the workshop will include traffic commission and parks/planing representatives and is intended as a public-engagement step in the grant process.
