Staff reported that the Oyster Creek cleaning contract has been awarded and suggested work will continue through December, noting the contractor planned multiple starting points and would work north-to-south. "So it's gonna as soon as they sign the contract, it'll go from there to December," staff said.
Commissioners discussed the Chevam Subdivision gas station, with staff confirming contamination was found at an earlier Shell site nearby: "They did they did have a leak," a staff speaker said during the update. Staff also described sidewalk and driveway work required along FM 332, coordination with TxDOT on ramps, and continuing daily meetings with fiber companies; staff estimated both fiber companies should finish by 2027. The city will monitor these projects and verify required sidewalk and ramp connections as phases proceed.
