Commission approves alternate site plan to repurpose tire shop as Kelsey Seybold clinic

Planning staff and the project engineer described the proposed repurposing of a former tire and service shop to a Kelsey Seybold medical office at 220 Grapevine Turner. "We are doing the, replat for the Kelsey Seybold Clinic," said Engineer Josh Groves of Baker and Lawson, explaining the parcel consolidation and site plan work.
Staff and commissioners discussed an outstanding parking shortage and previous conversations about a variance. Staff said the commission had been open to a variance at an earlier meeting and asked the applicant to present the alternate site plan formally. A motion to approve the administrative review and alternate site plan amendment carried by voice vote; staff indicated that if the applicant expands or alters the site later, additional reviews will follow.
